Our Veterinarians and staff are here to serve the pet owners of Surrey, White Rock and Langley, we share a common passion and love for animals, we treat your family member as if it was our own. We actively work with various animal rescue organizations and constantly volunteering in our community. We are focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Our well lit and spacious facility is designed keeping in mind the specific needs of our furry friends, we provide treatment for various ailments as well as preventative medicine. We strive for compassionate and quality care, we’re honoured to be part of your pets life. ‘Our Motto is to Provide the Best Quality Service in a Cost Effective Manner.’

Taylor Palmer

Taylor Palmer

Taylor completed her practicum with us in May 2016, and was hired on shortly after finishing practicum. On weekends you will find Taylor adventuring with her dogs, competing in three day eventing with her pony, or practicing with her Highland dance team.

Jake Palmer

Jake Palmer

Jake is our Office Manager. He has been employed by Dr. Ghuman and Dr. Virk since 2016, but only accepted the position in 2017. Jake works when he feels the time is right, and is often found lying in his bed surveying the clinic. Jake is most active during lunch or dinner, and can be found beneath your feet dancing for a few tablet scraps. Jake enjoys pets, or t/d dental bites from his clients.

Dr. Vikram Virk

Dr. Vikram Virk

Dr. Virk came to Canada in 2007, in 2010 he received his Veterinary License. Once he maintained he license he moved to Fort McMurray and began practicing. Shortly after realizing -40 temperatures were not for him he moved back to B.C. He practiced in North Vancouver, Langley, and in 2013 himself and Dr. Ghuman opened Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital. In his off time you will find Dr. Virk spending time with his wife, and two kids.

Dr. Gurbrinder Ghuman

Dr. Gurbrinder Ghuman

Dr. Ghuman competed his DVM in 2003, and in 2005 completed his masters in Veterinary Science with cardiovascular physiology and veterinary medicine. After finishing these degrees he moved on to University of Guelph to pursue his second post graduate degree. In 2009 he passed the national board exam. In 2011 started as associate veterinarian in Surrey, and Abbotsford. In 2013 Dr. Virk and Dr. Ghuman opened Peace Arch Veterinary hospital. In his off time you will see Dr. Ghuman adventuring with his wife, three kids, and dog Nala.


Aparna Chatterjee

Aparna Chatterjee

Aparna has been volunteering at Peace Arch since June 2018 after volunteering for 4 months. She is currently completing a degree in Biological Sciences at The University of British Columbia and will be pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in the future! When she is not studying, you can find Aparna adventuring with her dog, Hazel!

Megan Craig

Megan Craig

Megan has been with us since with since October 2018. Megan grew up in the lower mainland but moved to Prince George with her family in January 2015. After spending a few cold winters in Prince George she decided it was time to move back to the Cloverdale. In her off time Megan is found at the park with her two dogs, or at the barn with her three horses.

Breanna Handley

Breanna Handley

Breanna started as a volunteer in 2013 and was hired in 2016 as a part-time employee. She hopes to become a large animal vet in the future and is currently taking her Biological Sciences degree at Simon Fraser University. She enjoys playing competitive softball in her off time and also the comfort of home with her 3 feline pets.
