Our Veterinarians and staff are here to serve the pet owners of Surrey, White Rock and Langley, we share a common passion and love for animals, we treat your family member as if it was our own. We actively work with various animal rescue organizations and constantly volunteering in our community. We are focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Our well lit and spacious facility is designed keeping in mind the specific needs of our furry friends, we provide treatment for various ailments as well as preventative medicine. We strive for compassionate and quality care, we’re honoured to be part of your pets life. ‘Our Motto is to Provide the Best Quality Service in a Cost Effective Manner.’

Mackenzie Bayer

Mackenzie Bayer

Mackenzie has been with us since January 2016 as a volunteer and in early of 2017 she was hired on. You will find Mackenzie in school finishing her Bachelors of Science, or adventuring with her dog Cheerio.

Breanna Handley

Breanna Handley

Breanna started as a volunteer in 2013 and was hired in 2016 as a part-time employee. She hopes to become a large animal vet in the future and is currently taking her Biological Sciences degree at Simon Fraser University. She enjoys playing competitive softball in her off time and also the comfort of home with her 4 feline pets.

Dr. Vikram Virk

Dr. Vikram Virk

Dr. Virk came to Canada in 2007, in 2010 he received his Veterinary License. Once he maintained he license he moved to Fort McMurray and began practicing. Shortly after realizing -40 temperatures were not for him he moved back to B.C. He practiced in North Vancouver, Langley, and in 2013 himself and Dr. Ghuman opened Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital. In his off time you will find Dr. Virk spending time with his wife, and two kids.

Dr. Gurbrinder Ghuman

Dr. Gurbrinder Ghuman

Dr. Ghuman competed his DVM in 2003, and in 2005 completed his masters in Veterinary Science with cardiovascular physiology and veterinary medicine. After finishing these degrees he moved on to University of Guelph to pursue his second post graduate degree. In 2009 he passed the national board exam. In 2011 started as associate veterinarian in Surrey, and Abbotsford. In 2013 Dr. Virk and Dr. Ghuman opened Peace Arch Veterinary hospital. In his off time you will see Dr. Ghuman adventuring with his wife, three kids, and dog Nala.

Amanda Chan

Amanda Chan

Amanda started on her path with animals since before she could walk. She worked with both Doctors in Surrey in 2010 and followed them here to their own practice in 2015. In her off time you can usually find her hiking with dogs Bentley, Lincoln and Marley or traveling the world.

Brianna Owens

Brianna Owens

Brianna has been working with us since August of 2016. She came to us with experience working with large animals, but soon realized her passion is with small animals. She enjoys barrel racing during the summer season with her horse Jazz, and walking with her dog Sasha.

Taylor Palmer

Taylor Palmer

Taylor completed her practicum with us in May 2016, and was hired on shortly after finishing practicum. In her spare time you will find Taylor adventuring with her three dogs, practicing with her Highland Dance Team, or at the barn teaching riding lessons.

Hillary Danen

Hillary Danen

Hillary has worked with us since October 2016. She loves all types of animals and has a particular interest in wildlife rehabilitation. In her time off she enjoys reading, volunteering with O.W.L. Orphaned Wildlife, and hanging out with her dog Hank.

Chelsea Moore

Chelsea Moore

Chelsea has been with us since February of 2015. She has been working in the industry since 2012 and has no plans on changing paths. In her off time you can usually find her on a hike with her pup Yoda or on a trip in some random locale of the world.

Sasha Tiemer

Sasha Tiemer

Sasha has been a part of the Peace Arch Vet team since August 2015. With her passion for animals, she hopes she can make a difference in Animal Welfare and Animal Rights after she completes her Bachelors of Science in Biology. When she's not studying you can find her with her senior chihuahua, Chai or eating at her favorite vegan restaurant with her husband.
